Classic Balsamic Dressing For When You Have Minimal Ingredients

A classic balsamic dressing doesn’t have to be just balsamic. Spice it up a little… but keep it simple.

Ingredients
Makes 2 cups (500ml)

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 + 1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Combine the vinegar, honey, mustard, and olive oil in a blender. Process on medium-high speed until smooth and well-combined (5 to 6 seconds). Be careful not to over-blend as the dressing can become too thick.
  2. Add the salt and pepper, and more to taste. 
  3. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge (stays fresh for up to 7 days).
